Job summary

Labcorp in Reno, NV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately.

This full-time role is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; pay range is $17.75–$27.69 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• NV state issued laboratory assistant license or equivalent as of hire
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team; provide excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required
