Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. The role includes blood collection, specimen processing, and delivering excellent patient service in a patient service center or client office.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am–12:00pm, plus every other Saturday for 4 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training.
• At least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist is required.
• Additional qualification cites 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
