Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Prince Frederick, MD. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide excellent customer service, and be the face of the company in a patient-facing role.

You will work in a patient service center or client office with opportunities for growth, training, and advancement while maintaining accurate data entry and compliance with safety protocols. This position offers steady hours and a structured schedule.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
