Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Anniston, AL to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for tests, and ensure accurate data entry.

You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with specimen processing, and travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with 3+ months experience; 1+ year preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
