Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Phlebotomist in Oneonta, AL. The role entails blood collection across ages, data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a Monday–Friday schedule.

You may travel to other sites as needed, with emphasis on accuracy and customer care. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 6 months of phlebotomy experience; certification or training is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
