Job summary

Labcorp in Cumming, GA is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collection, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

The position requires phlebotomy certification or training, a high school diploma or GED, and 3+ years of experience. Travel to additional sites may be needed; overtime allowed as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy training, plus 3+ years' phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
