Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Cumming, GA to perform blood collections across age groups in patient service centers and client offices. You will collect specimens for tests, document patient information, and support billing processes while delivering excellent patient service.

Hours include Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri with rotating Saturdays. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training or certification, plus 2+ years of phlebotomy experience; color vision testing

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
