Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Madison, WI. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:am-4:30pm, rotating Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while providing excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1 year+ phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
