Job summary

Labcorp in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages. The role includes data entry, specimen processing, and providing courteous service to patients while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy certification or training preferred, or 6 months+ experience. Travel to additional sites may be required; evenings/rotating shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
