Job summary

Labcorp in Mebane, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, enter patient data accurately, and prepare specimens for testing while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role may require travel to other sites and requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training. A valid phlebotomy credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or training program.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
