Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Lakewood Clinic in Colorado. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, process specimens for testing, and enter patient data accurately. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and precise clerical work.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with possible overtime and travel to other sites. A High School diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred, with training programs from accredited agencies acceptable.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Excellent patient service and communication skills are required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
