Job summary

LabCorp in Gonzales, LA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, and enter data accurately while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training and at least 3 months of experience, with potential travel to additional sites. The schedule includes weekday hours with some weekend rotation and eligibility for PST incentive plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
