Labcorp in Clovis, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with overtime and weekend rotation as required.

The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection, data entry, specimen processing, and delivering exceptional customer service across patient populations. California licensure and a high school diploma are required; bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to attend 2-week training in California.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required; Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
