Qualifications

• Experience performing phlebotomy in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and other lab specimen collections per age related standards and in accordance with departmental policies.
• Receives and reviews physician orders and enters accurate orders for lab tests.
• Maintains safe work environment and proper storage of biohazardous waste.
• Performs clerical duties including order entry and handling lab information systems.
