Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Norton, VA. The role involves performing skilled specimen collections and providing exceptional customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm and a one-hour lunch break.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with opportunities for growth within the organization and eligibility for comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
