Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, seeking a casual/per diem Phlebotomist for Newnan, GA. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with 1+ year experience preferred and 3+ years for advancement. Customer service and teamwork are essential in this flexible, part-time position.

Qualifications

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
