Job summary

Labcorp in Hollister, NC is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and handle specimen processing with a focus on exceptional patient service. The role includes data entry, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and either Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience. PST incentive plan may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
