Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures across all patient age groups with accurate ID and courteous interaction.
• Process and prepare laboratory specimens including labeling and routing; provide timely phone support.
• Complete LIS/computer tasks: receiving specimens, monitoring logs, placing orders, printing labels, preparing send-outs.
• Report and escalate safety hazards, discrepancies, and system issues; document concerns and propose solutions.
• Maintain competency through ongoing education and training; ensure confidentiality and clean work environment.
