Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking a Lab Assistant to collect venous and capillary blood samples from a wide age range and support the clinical lab team with LIS-based processing. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary blood samples across pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Operate LIS to place orders and retrieve results.
• Prepare requisitions and deliver reports.
• Assist in basic laboratory testing under supervision of a Medical Technologist.
• Maintain accurate labeling and patient identification.
