Job summary

Labcorp in Greeneville, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, or 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may be required. Schedule: Mon Tue Thu Fri 8am–1pm. Competitive benefits and incentive plans apply.

Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-1pm

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation.
