Job summary

Labcorp in Enid, OK is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide skilled specimen collections and exceptional patient service in a client-facing role. You will perform venipuncture/capillary collections, handle specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical settings (LabCorp experience preferred), and a color vision test is required. Overtime flexibility and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment
• 1+ years experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)
• Current LabCorp experience
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a color blindness test
• Flexible to work overtime
• Able to work in a fast paced/high volume environment
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
