Job summary

Labcorp in Oregon City, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages and ensure accurate data entry into the system.

This role requires a high school diploma; preferred certification or training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. You may travel to additional sites and participate in a quarterly incentive bonus program with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or training program, or 3+ months experience.
• Pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
• Able to work independently or in a team; overtime flexible.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
