Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Newport, TN. The role is onsite; schedule is Mon–Thu 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Fri 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Eastern). Pay rate is $21.70–$23.25 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and sponsorship is not available.

The PSR II will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records across multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen processing per established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient privacy and professional conduct.
