Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Hartselle, AL. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch; vaccination against COVID-19 is required or an approved accommodation will be considered.

You will work in a Patient Service Center or Client office, performing blood collection and delivering excellent customer service. You will collect samples for testing, enter data accurately, and support various administrative tasks while traveling to additional

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
