Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Phenix City AL. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling for various tests, and accurate data entry with patient information.

Responsibilities include processing billing, maintaining logs, providing exceptional patient service, and performing administrative tasks. Travel to additional sites may be required; vaccination against COVID-19 is required where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
