Job summary

STGi is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide phlebotomy services and administrative support at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The role includes venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, and front desk coordination to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities cover patient in-processing, equipment preparation, identity verification, and adherence to SOPs. The position may involve training or oversight for invasive procedures and cross-functional clinic support.

Qualifications

• Experience in phlebotomy including venipuncture and finger-stick procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of phlebotomy duties including proper venipuncture, finger-stick and heel-stick procedures.
• Assemble equipment such as tourniquet, needles, collection devices and supplies for tests.
• Verify patient identity and obtain consent; conduct interviews and record vital signs as needed.
• Document samples per laboratory SOPs; maintain cleanliness and inventory of front desk and phlebotomy area.
• Provide instruction on patient-centered specimen collection and special requirements for certain tests.
• Support non-phlebotomy clerical and administrative duties across clinic areas as needed.
