Job summary

STGi is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide blood collection services at a Community Based Outpatient Clinic. You will perform phlebotomy procedures and support administrative tasks for clinical operations.

You will verify patient identity, prepare equipment, and assist with front desk duties while ensuring safety and accuracy in specimen collection. Training and cross-functional support may be required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy duties including venipuncture, finger-stick and heel-stick.
• Verify patient identity and collect samples per SOP.
• Prepare equipment and maintain front desk/clinic supplies.
• Provide administrative/clerical support and Telehealth duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of phlebotomist duties including venipuncture, finger-stick and heel-stick procedures using proper techniques and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Conduct patient in-processing before collection and provide cordial guidance.
• Assemble equipment (tourniquet, needles, collection devices) as required.
• Verify patient identity, communicate to ease fear, take vital signs, and draw test specimens.
• Provide technical oversight and training for invasive procedures when applicable.
• Maintain front desk clerical duties and laboratory cleanliness and inventory.
