Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist to serve as a liaison between the hospital laboratory and patients, collecting blood specimens, urine and other samples from inpatients and outpatients under supervision, using aseptic technique for diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities include proper specimen collection, handling and delivery to the main laboratory, plus incidental clerical, cleaning and supply duties. Requires HS diploma, accredited certification, and national certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Phlebotomy certification program.
• Must pass national certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Appropriate specimen collection, handling and delivery of specimen to main laboratory.
• Performs incidental clerical, cleaning and supply duties.
