Job summary

Labcorp in Rockledge, PA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture/capillary methods for all ages and accurate data entry, with patient service at the forefront.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required; 1+ year experience preferred. Benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
