Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 10861 Cherry St. #200, Los Alamitos, CA. The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, with potential overtime and rotating Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections, collect samples for drug screens and other tests, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and administrative duties. Strong customer service and the ability to travel to additional sites are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California state license for phlebotomy (CPT) with any experience may qualify.
• 1 month or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
