Job summary

LabCorp in Petaluma, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood draws, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient records. The role includes potential travel to additional sites and requires strong customer service skills.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a California Phlebotomy License; prior lab experience is a plus. The position offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ months of phlebotomist experience.
• Must be able to pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
