Labcorp in Athens, GA is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused lab team. You will perform blood draws, process specimens, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and customer service. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
