Job summary

Labcorp in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, handling specimens, and accurate data entry, with travel to additional sites as needed.

The position supports patients with exceptional service and requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and the schedule runs Monday–Friday 9:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
