Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Addison, IL. Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Performs blood collection, specimen handling, data entry and customer service in a patient-facing role.

Experience with phlebotomy and a valid certification or training is preferred. Pay range is $17.75–$24.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits and potential PST incentive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
