Labcorp in Wynnewood, PA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and perform blood collections with venipuncture and capillary techniques. The role emphasizes delivering excellent patient service and accurate data handling in a fast-paced lab setting.

The position involves travel to additional sites as needed and may include working in patient service centers or client offices. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required, with a focus on safe, compliant specimen collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist is required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
