Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Santa Monica team. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling and delivering excellent patient service at a Patient Service Center or client site.

The position is part-time with schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–1:30 pm, and may require travel to additional sites. California CPT license and a high school diploma are required; Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and a quarterly incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
