Physmed-Center-For-Physical-Medicine seeks a Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant to join the Sarasota/Bradenton area team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You will perform blood draws, assist with PRP procedures, and support clinical operations and patient care.

Requirements include 2–3 years of high-volume venipuncture experience, strong communication, reliability for 11:30 AM–6:30 PM shifts, and a collaborative, patient-friendly approach. Salary is $20–$22 per hour with DOE.

Job Title: Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant

Schedule: 1-2 days per week (7 hour/day) Tuesdays / Thursdays 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, upbeat, and dependable Phlebotomist to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In this dynamic dual-role, you will perform blood draws, assist with specialized Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures, and support overall clinic operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy & PRP Support: Perform routine venipunctures with high accuracy and comfort. Assist the physician directly during PRP procedures, including specimen preparation and handling.

• Clinical Operations: Responsible for opening/closing room prep, maintaining strict sanitization and cleanup protocols, and managing clinical inventory/supplies.

• Patient & Rehab Care: Assist patients before, during, and after treatment, supporting the physician with light physical rehabilitative care as needed.

• Patient Experience: Maintain a bright, positive attitude to foster a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience required.

• Technical Skills: Proven competency in venipuncture techniques and proper specimen handling. Experience with or willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.

• Professional Demeanor: Strong communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and a proactive team-player mindset.

• Reliability: Must have consistent, reliable availability for Tuesdays and Thursday shifts (11:30 AM – 6:30 PM).
