PhysMed in the Sarasota area is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant to perform blood draws, assist with PRP procedures, and support clinic operations and patient care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role emphasizes technical precision with a warm, empathetic bedside manner.

Hours are 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM, 1–2 days per week, with a 7-hour shift per day. A positive patient experience and reliable availability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience required.
• Competency in venipuncture techniques and specimen handling.
• Willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine venipunctures with high accuracy. Assist physician during PRP procedures.
• Open/close room prep, sanitize, and manage inventory.
• Assist patients before, during, and after treatment with rehabilitative care as needed.

Job Title: Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant

Location: Sarasota / Bradenton Area

Schedule: 1-2 days per week (7 hour/day) Tuesdays / Thursdays 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, upbeat, and dependable Phlebotomist to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In this dynamic dual-role, you will perform blood draws, assist with specialized Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures, and support overall clinic operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy & PRP Support: Perform routine venipunctures with high accuracy and comfort. Assist the physician directly during PRP procedures, including specimen preparation and handling.

• Clinical Operations: Responsible for opening/closing room prep, maintaining strict sanitization and cleanup protocols, and managing clinical inventory/supplies.

• Patient & Rehab Care: Assist patients before, during, and after treatment, supporting the physician with light physical rehabilitative care as needed.

• Patient Experience: Maintain a bright, positive attitude to foster a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience required.

• Technical Skills: Proven competency in venipuncture techniques and proper specimen handling. Experience with or willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.

• Professional Demeanor: Strong communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and a proactive team-player mindset.

• Reliability: Must have consistent, reliable availability for Tuesdays and Thursday shifts (11:30 AM – 6:30 PM).
