PhysMed Sarasota is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant to join our Sarasota area clinic. The role focuses on blood draws and PRP support, with responsibilities spanning room prep, sanitization, inventory, and patient care.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of high-volume blood draw experience, strong venipuncture skills, and excellent communication. Schedule: Tue/Thu, 11:30 AM–6:30 PM, 1–2 days weekly.

Job Title: Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant

Location: Sarasota / Bradenton Area

Schedule: 1-2 days per week (7 hour/day) Tuesdays / Thursdays 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, upbeat, and dependable Phlebotomist to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In this dynamic dual-role, you will perform blood draws, assist with specialized Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures, and support overall clinic operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy & PRP Support: Perform routine venipunctures with high accuracy and comfort. Assist the physician directly during PRP procedures, including specimen preparation and handling.

• Clinical Operations: Responsible for opening/closing room prep, maintaining strict sanitization and cleanup protocols, and managing clinical inventory/supplies.

• Patient & Rehab Care: Assist patients before, during, and after treatment, supporting the physician with light physical rehabilitative care as needed.

• Patient Experience: Maintain a bright, positive attitude to foster a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience required.

• Technical Skills: Proven competency in venipuncture techniques and proper specimen handling. Experience with or willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.

• Professional Demeanor: Strong communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and a proactive team-player mindset.

• Reliability: Must have consistent, reliable availability for Tuesdays and Thursday shifts (11:30 AM – 6:30 PM).
