PhysMED: Center for Physical Medicine in the Sarasota/Bradenton area seeks a Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant. Shifts are 11:30 AM–6:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2 days per week, 7 hours per day, with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour DOE.

This dual role covers blood draws, PRP support, and general clinic operations, patient care, and rehab assistance. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of high-volume venipuncture experience and a reliable, compassionate bedside manner.

Qualifications

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled, upbeat, and dependable Phlebotomist to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In this dynamic dual‑role, you will perform blood draws, assist with specialized Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures, and support overall clinic operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy & PRP Support: Perform routine venipunctures with high accuracy and comfort. Assist the physician directly during PRP procedures, including specimen preparation and handling.
• Clinical Operations: Responsible for opening/closing room prep, maintaining strict sanitization and cleanup protocols, and managing clinical inventory/supplies.
• Patient & Rehab Care: Assist patients before, during, and after treatment, supporting the physician with light physical rehabilitative care as needed.
• Patient Experience: Maintain a bright, positive attitude to foster a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience required.
• Technical Skills: Proven competency in venipuncture techniques and proper specimen handling. Experience with or willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.
• Professional Demeanor: Strong communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and a proactive team-player mindset.
• Reliability: Must have consistent, reliable availability for Tuesdays and Thursday shifts (11:30 AM - 6:30 PM).
