Job summary

PhysMED: Center for Physical Medicine in the Sarasota/Bradenton area seeks a Part-Time Phlebotomist & Clinical Assistant. Shifts are 11:30 AM–6:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2 days per week, 7 hours per day, with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour DOE.

This dual role covers blood draws, PRP support, and general clinic operations, patient care, and rehab assistance. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of high-volume venipuncture experience and a reliable, compassionate bedside manner.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of daily, high-volume blood draw experience.
• Proven venipuncture competency and proper specimen handling.
• Willingness to learn PRP protocol handling.
• Strong communication and proactive team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy & PRP Support: perform routine venipunctures and assist during PRP procedures.
• Clinical Operations: open/close room prep, sanitize, cleanup, and manage supplies.
• Patient & Rehab Care: assist patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Patient Experience: maintain a welcoming, positive environment for every patient.
