• Ensures accurate patient identification and proper labeling and transport of specimens.
• May assist in patient care during emergencies and respond to events as needed.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and care teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazard materials per regulatory requirements and HIPAA rules.
