Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Northborough, MA, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role collects specimens, processes tests, and ensures accurate data entry while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must be available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime per staffing needs.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA where applicable.
• Position requires effective English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders via lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Accurately enter data and navigate computer systems.
• Obtain IDs, enter billing info, and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Adhere to department policies and training requirements.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions; maintain logs timely.
