Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Westford, MA. The role involves steady morning blood collections, specimen processing, and accurate data entry as part of a patient-centered service team.

You will travel to patient service centers or client offices, provide exceptional service, and support billing and administrative tasks. This position offers growth within Labcorp’s extensive diagnostics network and a structured morning shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
