Job summary

Food Management Search is seeking a Phlebotomist to support multiple sites in Northwest Indiana. The role involves blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper transport and documentation. You will travel within the territory with mileage paid and must have reliable transportation.

Qualified candidates have a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomist with state credential.
• At least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection per procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens correctly.
• Document maintenance data and comply with test orders and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Maintain accurate patient information and transport specimens as required.
