Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper transport and documentation while adhering to lab protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
