Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Phlebotomist to support the Flower Mound location. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The position may be Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

Under supervision, you will collect blood specimens, ensure proper patient identification, and send samples to the lab for analysis while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy is recommended.
• Current state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record keeping duties.
• Sends specimens to reference laboratories for any testing not performed in house.
• Updates and files all daily paperwork, lab logs and maintenance logs.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients and medical staff.

Education
