Job summary

Texas Oncology in Flower Mound is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves collecting blood samples, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate record-keeping under QA guidelines.

Work hours are typically 8:30a-5:00p, Monday through Friday. Opportunities range from Level 1 to Sr, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry level with no experience for Level 1.
• Level 2 requires three years of experience; Level Sr requires five+ years.
• State licensure for phlebotomy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains documentation and logs per QA program.
• Prepares and labels specimens and sends to lab for analysis.
• Ensures inventory of supplies and maintains equipment.
• Adheres to OSHA and universal precautions.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
