Position: Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

We are a medium-volume family practice clinic with locations in Davenport, Poinciana, Ocoee, Four Corners, Lakeland, and Clermont. We are seeking Medical Assistant staff to support practice flow and patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques.
2. Prepare and label specimens for laboratory analysis.
3. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
4. Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during procedures.
5. Record patient information accurately and maintain documentation.
6. Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
7. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
8. Assist in training new phlebotomists or interns, if required.
9. Stay updated on phlebotomy techniques and best practices.
10. Handle and dispose of biohazard materials according to regulations.
11. Create and complete messages and documentation.
12. Administer injections and shots.
13. Manage supplies and check shot records.
14. Refill medications as needed.
15. Participate in HEDIS initiatives.

We are rapidly growing and currently operate four offices. We seek someone eager to grow with us. This position requires working one Saturday per month and travel between offices depending on the assigned provider.
