Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in blood specimen collection required; 3 years preferred.
• Current CA Certified Phlebotomy Technician License required or considered.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from inpatients and outpatients via venipuncture or skin puncture.
• Restock phlebotomy supplies for all shifts and maintain supply inventories.
• Perform clerical duties and data entry in LIS with accuracy.
• Deliver specimens to the lab and ensure proper routing.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Assist CLS when possible and support quality patient care initiatives.
